Senior Risk Manager

Core Functions

 

  • ·Develop and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management framework for the analysis, monitoring and mitigation of Market, and Liquidity risk in the Group.
  • Design, adapt and implement risk management techniques and a digital infrastructure for the Group’s risk taking activities including but not restricted to:

-          The development of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive models

-          The development and maintenance of Risk Management Visualization Dashboards to enable monitoring and       identification of Market and Liquidity Risk across the Group.

-       The monitoring of compliance with risk management policies, risk management procedures and risk limits.

-       The monitoring of daily market and liquidity risk factors

-       The conducting of stress and scenario analyses.

  • Predict the future trends from the current developments in the market and use insight to recommend to management accordingly to plan strategies.
  • ·Develop the Group’s Economic Capital and Risk Adjusted Return on Capital models.
  • Drive programs and initiatives to ensure that the entities within the Group remain compliant with regulatory standards and international Risk Management best practices (such as Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Net Stable Funding Ratio and other Basel Standards) and keep pace with changes in the operating environment (such as changes in valuation techniques, price discovery and interest rate setting mechanisms).

 

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or other Quantitative discipline
• At least five years of work experience in quantitative financial risk management with at least two years of supervisory or management level experience.
• Pursuing a professional qualification such as the CFA or FRM would be an asset
