The Project Manager will plan and supervise projects from conceptualization to close out and will assist in developing cost estimates, a deliverables schedule that outlines a road map that the project team will adhere to.

Senior PM

The successful candidate will provide leadership and guidance to the Project Teams, both offshore and onshore in the achievement and delivery of the contractual obligations and performance commitments of all projects. He/She must effectively coordinate with all stakeholders of the related project (client and 3rd party suppliers) and ensure that adherence to all policies and contractual obligations are maintained in the Value Chain Operational Process.

Roles and Responsibilities (included but not limited to the following):

  • Project Scheduling
  • Project Manpower Assessment and Assignment 
  • Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with quality and safety codes, and other regulations jointly with the Quality Team.
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to the Project Team.
  • Evaluate projects and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with the client, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of Requisitioning  of supplies, equipment and materials to complete projects 
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports.
  • Investigate and take actions to deal with the results of damage, delays, bad weather, or emergencies at project site.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, client and 3rd party suppliers to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and project related problems.
  • Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
  • Evaluate project methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans.
  • The overall management of assigned projects and contracts
  • Work scope evaluation including Surveys and Technical Assessments
  • Develop and sustain positive business and working relationships with clients and other departments throughout the organization
  • Provide technical expertise and advice in relation to projects/contracts
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; lessons learnt; making recommendations to management
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Minimum Education/Qualifications:
  1. BSc. Engineering
  2. Project Management Certification (PMI) or any relevant, accredited PM qualification
  3. 8+ years’ experience in Project Management
  4. Experience in coordinating large/complex/multi-disciplinary projects.
  5. Advanced experience with Project management software and tools
  6. Proven experience in meeting and treating with major Clients in the Oil and Gas Industry
