Global TT is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Procurement Officer (SPO) to lead and manage the Agency's procurement activities.

About the Role (3-month fixed term contract)

Global TT is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Procurement Officer (SPO) to lead and manage the Agency's procurement activities. The SPO will oversee the full procurement cycle for goods, services, and works, ensure compliance with the Public Procurement & Disposal of Public Property Act (2015), and provide expert guidance to management, stakeholders, and the Procurement and Stores Officers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with Global TT's corporate objectives
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes from requisition to contract award
• Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts
• Prepare and present procurement plans and recommendations
• Monitor KPIs, analyse procurement data, and prepare reports for Executive Management and regulatory bodies
• Supervise, coach, and conduct performance reviews of Procurement and Stores Officers
• Ensure full compliance with OPR regulations and internal policies

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field
• Professional certification (CIPS, PMP, or CPSM) strongly preferred
• Minimum 3–4 years of progressive procurement experience
• Minimum 2 years in a senior or supervisory procurement role
• Experience in public or quasi-governmental organisations is a distinct asset

Skills & Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of T&T's public procurement legislation
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and supplier relationship management skills
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
• Strategic thinking, ethical judgment, and keen attention to detail
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
• Leadership and team coordination ability
