Responsibilities

• Audits various payroll process and related reports for regular and off cycle runs that may include garnishments, banking, executive compensation, stock option runs.
• Prepares and audits payroll tax reconciliations to balance for client payments, reporting, quarter-end, and year-end processing.
• Audits all garnishment input including vendor information, forms, orders.
• Researches, responds or makes corrections if necessary to complex inquiries related to payroll taxes, deductions and wage withholding.
• Manages complex processes related to changes in regulatory compliance for wage and hour payroll taxation.
• Confirms all data received from interfaces into the payroll system and corrects error files as needed.
• Manages projects related to payroll system changes, updates and compliance.
• Audits corrected W2Cs, amended returns and file with tax agencies.
• Manages the implementation of special projects.
• Oversees the standardization and centralization of service delivery functions such as quality management, training, change management. escalations, incident management or any other special project that spans across clients.
• Basic data querying skills
• data manipulation skills
• knowledge of SQL (Oracle)
• excellent Excel and analytical skills
• Microsoft Access and basic programing skills would be a plus
