Senior Outbound Operations Manager

Wisynco Group limited is seeking a Senior Outbound Operations and DT Manager to join our expanding team.

JOB SUMMARY:

The role is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the outbound warehouse operations in a dynamic manufacturing and distribution environment. The role is critical in ensuring efficient handling, storage, and delivery of FMCG across the island. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the company's logistics and distribution strategies, with a focus on improving operational effectiveness, driving best practice implementation and contributing to the growth of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

o	Provide strategic leadership and direction for the outbound warehouse and intra warehouse operations, aligning with the overall business objectives and logistics strategies.
o	Lead and mentor a team of direct reports who manage a diverse workforce including over 500 full-time employees and third-party contract workers.
o	Manage daily operations, ensuring seamless movement of goods through the outbound and intra warehouse, optimizing processes, and maintaining high efficiency levels.
o	Lead the digital transformation for the Advanced WMS (d365) as the Subject Matter Expert (SME)
o	Collaborate with executive leaders to implement best practices and drive organizational transformation in the area, focusing on continuous improvement initiatives.
o	Partner with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and outbound distribution to optimize the end-to-end supply chain.
o	Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency, accuracy, productivity and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
o	Drive and execute transformative change initiatives within the outbound and intra warehouse operations, fostering a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and business competitiveness.
o	Lead the strategic development of a skilled and empowered workforce within the outbound and intra warehouse operations, including talent assessment, individual growth plans, and robust succession planning to ensure seamless continuity and sustained operational excellence.
o	Provide thought partnership and managerial support to the Head of Operations, contributing to strategic decision-making and resource planning.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

o	Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or a related discipline supplemented by specialized training in Warehouse / Inventory Management
o	Five (5) years similar or related working experience, with at least two (2) years in a senior capacity 
o	Proven experience in senior warehouse management roles within the FMCG sector, with expertise in outbound and intra warehouse operations.
o	Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing large teams, including direct reports and contract workers.
o	In-depth knowledge of logistics and distribution best practices, coupled with the ability to drive organizational transformation.

o	Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.

o	Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across departments and influence key stakeholders.
o	Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and familiarity with warehouse automation technologies.
o	Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance within a warehouse environment.
o	Knowledge of ISO standards
