Senior Meter Data Management Analyst

NES Fircroft is seeking a highly skilled Senior Meter Data Management Analyst to lead the technical and analytical functions of the Meter Data Management System (MDMS). The ideal candidate will ensure high‑quality meter data, oversee system performance, support integrations with business systems, and deliver insights for operational, billing, and regulatory needs. This role requires strong technical expertise in AMI/AMR systems, data validation, analytics, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the acquisition, validation, and quality of meter data from AMI, SCADA, and manual sources.
• Monitor automated workflows, troubleshoot anomalies, and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Oversee AMI/AMR network operations, system upgrades, and vendor coordination.
• Administer MDMS settings, integrations with CIS, ERP, and data platforms.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics for billing accuracy, energy audits, forecasting, and loss detection.
• Provide technical support for MDMS, SQL environments, and field communication devices.
• Lead or support projects involving AMI rollouts, MDMS enhancements, and system integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in meter data management, analytics, or utility operations.
• Experience with enterprise‑grade MDMS systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools; experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred.
• Knowledge of AMI technologies, data governance, APIs, and integration tools.
