KPMG in Caricom is seeking to hire talented, highly motivated Senior Manager Government & Public Sector - Program Management. As a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Government & Public Sector practice, you will lead complex, multi-stakeholder programs across CARICOM member states, ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives in governance, digital transformation, fiscal reform, and regulatory modernization.
Job Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Delivery:
• Oversee large-scale programs from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and CARICOM integration priorities.
• Establish governance structures, risk management frameworks, and performance monitoring systems.
Strategic Advisory:
• Advise senior government officials on program design, implementation strategies, and change management.
• Drive adoption of best practices in program management and public sector modernization.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Manage relationships with ministries, agencies, donors, and regional bodies.
• Facilitate high-level workshops and steering committee meetings.
Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new opportunities within the Government & Public Sector across CARICOM.
• Lead proposal development, client presentations, and contribute to growth strategies for the practice.
Internal Risk & Compliance:
• Ensure all engagements adhere to KPMG’s risk management and compliance protocols.
• Monitor internal controls and maintain quality standards across projects.
Quality & Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to international standards (PMI, PRINCE2) and KPMG methodologies.
• Monitor program KPIs and deliver timely reports to stakeholders.
Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Project Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in program/project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record managing government or donor-funded programs in the Caribbean or similar regions.
• Strong knowledge of CARICOM governance and integration frameworks.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or MSP are highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies
• Experience in digital transformation, fiscal reform, or regulatory modernization projects.
• Ability to manage multi-country programs and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
