This is a senior analytical role requiring strong FP&A depth, advanced systems capability, and the ability to act as a thought partner to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate annual financial budgets, quarterly and monthly forecasts, collaborating with heads of departments to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models; analyse financial data to assess business performance, identify trends, automate reporting processes, and explain variances.
  • Support treasury management activities, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity and working capital management, and risk assessments.
  • Perform capital expenditure appraisals, Return On Investment (ROI) analytics, and monitor investments.
  • Advise on potential financial risks and guide towards better investment opportunities.
  • Review current and past financial data across general ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, income statements, tax records, and annual reviews.
  • Prepare insightful reports and presentations for the senior executive team, highlighting key financial metrics and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Commerce. A professional designation (e.g. ACCA, CFA, CPA) is an asset.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance / Accounting, with strong IFRS knowledge.
  • Proven hands-on FP&A experience including budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and group consolidations.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial databases, including report development and automation.
  • Advanced Excel skills; strong PowerPoint for executive presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex financial information for senior stakeholders.
  • Dedicated and driven, with a strong work ethic and the tenacity to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all financial outputs.
  • Proactive, analytical, and commercially minded with a growth mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.

What We Are Looking For The successful candidate must clearly demonstrate strength in the following areas:

  • FP&A & Financial Modelling: Hands-on experience building financial models and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, including working with departments to develop realistic forecasts and explain variances and trends.
  • Group Consolidation & Reporting: Direct consolidation responsibility, not just regional reporting exposure.
  • ERP & Data Systems: Strong comfort with ERP systems, data extraction and analysis, report development, and automation.
  • Business Partnering & Insight: Ability to interpret financial results, identify risks and trends, and provide meaningful insights to senior management.
  • Advanced Excel & Analytics: Demonstrable sophistication in financial modelling and working with complex financial data.
