The Portfolio of Legal Affairs is currently inviting applications for the following post within the Financial Reporting Authority (FRA): 

SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST 

CI$75,228.00 - CI$101,160.00 per annum (USD $90,000 - $121,000 approx)

The Senior Financial Analyst position within the Financial Reporting Authority will be accountable for the analysis of disclosures of financial information reported in Suspicious Activity Reports.  As a senior member of the team, the post holder will report to the Director of the Financial Reporting Authority. 

Key responsibilities of this role include the preparation of high-quality intelligence reports in a timely manner, with well supported recommendations for further action in keeping with the legislative requirements of the Proceeds of Crime Act (2020 Revision).  The Senior Financial Analyst will also manage workload distribution and supervise junior staff members.

Applicants for this key position should hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field such as finance, business or law from a recognised university.  Other requirements include:

  • an internationally recognised qualification in the anti-money laundering field;
  • at least seven (7) years of relevant professional experience within the finance, legal, criminal, regulatory or forensic fields to include management and supervisory experience; and
  • significant knowledge, skills and experience relating to: local and international standards in combatting money laundering, terrorist financing and the financing of proliferation; the legislative and policy context of the Financial Reporting Authority; the analysis of complex financial and non-financial transactions; anti-money laundering programme designs; and detailed research and reporting.
