Senior Finance Leader 

Our client, an internationally focused service provider, is seeking to recruit a visionary and strategic Senior Finance Leader to lead and transform the organization’s financial operations.The successful candidate will not only oversee financial planning, compliance, and reporting but also drive innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and support the company’s long-term growth objectives. This is a key leadership role, requiring a dynamic and results-oriented leader with exceptional decision-making skills, a forward-thinking mindset, and a proven track record in senior finance roles. 

Key Responsibilities 

Financial Strategy & Management 

  • Oversee the preparation, review, and accuracy of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. 

  • Establish robust financial policies and controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks. 

  • Drive financial planning processes and align financial objectives with the company’s strategic goals. 

Budgeting & Forecasting 

  • Lead the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. 

  • Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and recommend corrective actions. 

  • Ensure optimal resource allocation and maintain strong cash flow management. 

Payroll & Payment Administration 

  • Supervise payroll and vendor payments, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies. 

  • Guarantee timely and accurate processing of salaries, benefits, and vendor settlements. 

Reporting & Analysis 

  • Deliver comprehensive financial reports to senior leadership, providing actionable insights for decision-making. 

  • Present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to relevant stakeholders. 

Compliance & Risk Management 

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks, tax laws, and accounting standards. 

  • Implement internal controls to protect assets and reduce financial risks. 

  • Lead risk assessments and propose strategies for mitigation. 

Leadership & Team Development 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to foster excellence and collaboration. 

  • Set KPIs aligned with business objectives and monitor team performance. 

Stakeholder Relations 

  • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies. 

  • Act as a key liaison with external partners and represent the finance function internally and externally. 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage. 

  • Professional designation (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) strongly preferred. 

  • 7–10 years of progressive financial experience, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role. 

  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, financial planning, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities. 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proficient in financial systems and MS Office Suite. 

  • Highly ethical, organized, and detail-oriented. 

  • Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach.
