Position Title: Senior Account Executive – General Insurance

Job Summary:

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of large corporate clients within the General Insurance division. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep technical knowledge of general insurance products and proven experience in client relationship management, and account retention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and service a portfolio of large commercial and corporate accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and policy compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and underwriters to deliver tailored insurance solutions.
• Identify opportunities to grow the client portfolio through cross-selling and new business development.
• Oversee renewals, policy changes, and claims management, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals, and reports to support business objectives.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and policy administration.
• Mentor and support junior team members in developing technical and client management skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 11 years’ experience in General Insurance, with a focus on servicing and managing large corporate accounts.
• Proven track record of business development and client retention in the insurance sector.
• Certification in Insurance (e.g., ACI, ACII, CPCU) would be an asset.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and policy structures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
