Senior Claims Associate
Reporting to the Claims Manager, the incumbent is responsible for delivering exceptional service to stakeholders, assisting with the resolution of Own Damage and/or Third Parties claim settlements and ensuring that a complete and accurate evaluation is done of all matters. The incumbent will also assist with the authorizing of claims, ensuring process efficiency and enhancing service quality.
The position is based in Kingston. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and organized individual, with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. At minimum, applicants should possess the following:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law or related field.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in General Insurance.
• Strong knowledge of Motor Claims Management, underwriting practices and principles.• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and techniques.
• Sound negotiating and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
• Excellent time management and the ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite [EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint etc.]
