Our client in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to join their dynamic sales team. This role is pivotal to growing revenue through effective account management, new business development, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Job Summary
The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for maximizing company revenue by managing and growing existing customer accounts while proactively identifying and acquiring new customers. The successful candidate will also be instrumental in promoting new products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the company’s overall growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management (Existing Customers)
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular visits.
- Increase sales volumes and introduce new SKUs to current clients.
- Provide and explain monthly statements to ensure timely payments.
- Address and resolve any client complaints (products, service, or personnel).
- Share updated price listings promptly.
- Coordinate with Receiving & Distribution to ensure timely deliveries (within 48 hours).
New Business Development
- Identify and pursue new customer opportunities within assigned regions.
- Actively promote company products and SKUs to both new and existing clients.
- Execute promotional activities (signage, materials, in-store events, etc.) in your territory.
Internal Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with Brand Ambassadors to monitor stock levels and in-store activity.
- Review and process suggested orders from Brand Ambassadors.
- Maintain open communication with the Manager and Directors on initiatives and challenges.
- Use the ERP system (Odoo) to enter orders and submit reports.
- Attend weekly meetings with the Accounts Receivable Officer.
- Track and report on client payment communications and credit arrangements.
Product Support
- Drive adoption of new SKUs among your client base.
General
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of Sales & Marketing experience in the FMCG industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (preferably Odoo).
- Must own and operate a reliable vehicle to cover the Central, South, and Deep South regions.
