Senior Accountant

A reputable Company in the oil and gas industry is seeking suitably qualified candidates to fill the role of Senior Accountant.

Position Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares, examines, and analyzes accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Prepares USD & TT Gas and condensate revenue analysis.
• Computes quarterly taxes, royalty and working interest, Green Fund Levy, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
• Prepares the schedule of Gas Prices and financial reconciliation on a monthly basis.
• Ensures compliance with PSC accounting as per the PSC and JOA.
• Prepares Petroleum Income Tax and Corporate Income Tax submissions.
• Prepares and ensures timely submission of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reconciliations.
• Liaises with internal and external parties such as government authority (eg.M.E.E.I.), tax consultants and auditors.
• Conducts audit of records of cost recovery statement and statements of expenditure.
