Security Supervisor

We're hiring a Security Supervisor

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing security operations at assigned locations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and maintaining the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets. This role involves supervising security officers, conducting inspections, maintaining equipment, and enforcing compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Staff Deployment:
• Ensure all assigned locations are effectively manned throughout the shift.
2. Firearms Management:
• Document all firearms, serial numbers, and ammunition upon distribution. Obtain signatures in the provided logbook from recipients.
• Conduct checks on firearms and ammunition during collection.
3. Firearm Maintenance:
• Ensure all firearms are cleaned and properly oiled on a weekly basis.
4. Uniform Compliance:
• Ensure no security officer is dispatched without wearing the proper uniform.
5. Disciplinary Actions:
• Enforce company rules and regulations. Prepare charge sheets for officers in breach and submit them to administration for disciplinary proceedings.
6. Location Checks:
• Conduct location checks a minimum of 2 times per shift at all assigned locations. Document visits in the provided logbook and sign accordingly.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Must possess a Firearms Users License
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle firearms and maintain accurate records.
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and inspections.

Working Conditions:

• Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays  is  required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
