Security Manager

💦 Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive resort/corporate security strategy aligned with company goals.
• Lead, train, and supervise the security team to ensure effective coverage and professional conduct.
• Establish departmental goals, KPIs, and performance standards.
• Oversee daily security operations including access control, surveillance systems, patrols, and emergency response.
• Coordinate all investigations of incidents such as theft, accidents, property damage, or suspicious activities.
• Ensure proper documentation of all incidents and maintain up-to-date reports.
• Develop and maintain emergency response protocols for events such as fire, medical emergencies, natural disasters, or threats to safety.
• Conduct regular drills and training sessions to ensure readiness of staff and emergency response teams.
• Maintain communication channels with local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, security, health, and fire regulations (e.g., OSHA, local safety codes).
• Maintain all security equipment (e.g., CCTV, alarm systems, radios) and ensure proper functioning.
• Promote a culture of safety and vigilance throughout the organization.
• Provide training to staff on safety protocols, incident reporting, and crisis management.
• Monitor and respond to guest concerns or complaints related to safety or security issues.
• Prepare budgets and manage expenses related to security operations.
• Develop reports and present security updates to executive leadership.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of security personnel.

The ideal person for this position brings excellent skills communicational skills both oral and written, team management, a team-working attitude and positive a proactive attitude.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, OSHA compliance) are a plus.
• Military or Police training may be considered in lieu of formal education
