Security Contractor

The Security Contractor must ensure the safety of the company's personnel, property, and assets by monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access points, patrolling premises, and responding to emergencies and security incidents.

Job Duties

a)     Recording of all personnel entering and leaving the compound whether on foot or by vehicle. If by vehicle, the registration number of the vehicle is recorded.

b)     Recording of temperatures of all persons entering the compound.

c)     Ensuring that contractors and fish suppliers entering the compound complete relevant forms.

d)     Recording of weights of fish received from suppliers in a Goods Received Notebook. This includeds the time delivered, number and colour of bins left and any other relevant information.

e)     Freezer temperatures must be monitored and recorded on relevant forms on weekends, public holidays and after 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

f)      Performing regular inspections of the compound and report all irregularities to management.

g)     Monitoring and recording diesel usage by both Sea Foods Enterprises Limited and Skyline Freight Management Limited's fleet of vehicles and inform Accounts when to reorder fuel.

h)     Monitoring the following equipment and ensure they are working properly. Report to management if any equipment is not working as it should.

1. Ice machine
2. Diesel tank
3. Walk in Freezers

i)      Recording of times when any employee/s leave/s and return/s to the compound with a company vehicle. As much as possible, include purpose employee is using company vehicle e.g., deliveries, etc.

j)      Conducting spot checks on anyone (employee and/or visitor) leaving compound. 

k)     Ensuring a proper hand over is given at the change of your shift.

Job Requirements

a)    At least 5 CSEC passes 

b)    Must be computer literate  

c)    Must have a Valid Police Certificate of Character

d)     Must be willing and able to work shifts, on weekends and on public holidays
