Sanitation Worker

The successful candidate will be required to safely and efficiently operate a variety of processing and packaging equipment involved in the preparation of Bpi Genethics Limited products.

The successful candidate will be required to safely and efficiently operate a variety of processing and packaging equipment involved in the preparation of Bpi Genethics Limited products.

Some Main Responsibilities:

• Perform all functions of sanitation in production plant to include trash removal, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping, floor polishing and detail cleaning according to the cleaning and sanitation guidelines
• Perform daily cleaning of Restrooms, lunchrooms, offices and Common areas
• Perform daily cleaning of plant entrance areas
• Perform routine cleaning of production equipment
• Maintain warehouse floors aisles, clean-up spills, remove trash and debris.
• Perform scheduled custodial duties, paint, scrape, power wash and other projects as assigned, cutting and disposal of cardboard material
• General sanitation for the entire facility to include daily cleaning in and around machinery and warehouse racks
• Cleaning and removal of trash and debris from immediate building perimeter
• Assist the maintenance department in general building repairs and maintenance
• At end of shift perform general housekeeping duties and complete all required paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualification, Experience and Requirement:

• At least three (3) O Levels inclusive of Mathematics and English
• Prior experience in a similar environment will be an asset
• Previous forklift experience an asset
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Or relevant combination of training and experience.
• A valid Police Certificate of Good Character

• Good Sanitation Practices  — Knowledge of raw materials, sanitation
• Excellent physical dexterity
• Excellent ability to work in a team
