Sandals Foundation Programs Officer

The Sandals Foundation Programs Officer will enhance the foundation’s presence across the Eastern Caribbean by building strong community partnerships, ensuring consistent brand representation, and overseeing project implementation. The officer will serve as a key liaison between resorts, communities, and external stakeholders, driving awareness of the Foundation’s initiatives while supporting impactful education, community, and environmental programs

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

  • Engaging and training resort team members on the Sandals Foundation’s mission, programs, and engagement opportunities.
  • Ensuring accurate and consistent use of the Sandals Foundation branding across resorts and retail spaces.
  • Representing the Foundation at local and regional events, media opportunities, and public engagements.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with schools, NGOs, community stakeholder groups, and government agencies.
  • Identifying and securing new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations aligned with the Foundation’s goals.
  • Coordinating volunteer activities, community outreach events, and guest engagement opportunities
  • Assisting with small-scale fundraising activities and donor recognition efforts
  • Supporting SF project managers with planning, coordination, and execution of project handovers and launches.
  • Monitoring ongoing projects to ensure accountability, timely delivery, and measurable impact.
  • Collecting data and contributing to monitoring and evaluation (M&E) reports.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in community development, nonprofit management, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in program coordination, the nonprofit sector, community engagement, or public relations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage partnerships and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the Eastern Caribbean cultural and social context.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the region.
  • Must be a resident of St. Lucia.
