Samba Brewery Inventory Clerk

The Samba Brewery Inventory Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all data entry for SAMBA Brewery and Winery is done on a real time basis in order to facilitate the efficient operations of the Brewery at all time and to execute such functions and duties in accordance with Company's Policy.

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all data entry for Samba Brewery and Winery is done on a real-time basis in order to facilitate the efficient operations of the Brewey at all times and to execute such functions and duties in accordance with the Company's Policy.

Key Responsibilities

1) Performing all data entry into GP on a real-time basis:

    a) Goods Receive Notes

    b) Production Slips

    c) Blending Forms

    d) Stock Adjustments 

2) Provide the Brewmaster with daily updates on the availability of raw materials and finished goods from GP.

3) Work in collaboration with Samba Stock Coordinator to ensure that the stock is accurate at all times. 

4) Closing and reconciling of simultaneous Production activity when completed by Brewery.

5) Performing all monthly close off:

    a) Ensure that all data entry for the period is completed.

    b) Submitting inventory on hand and valuation report as at the end of the month to the Brewmaster, GM and Inventory Manager.

    c) Submitting stock reconciliation report (Inventory Control) between General Ledger and Sub ledger to the Inventory Manager.

*Please note that the dealine for close off is the 3rd working day of the following month, therefore (a) to (c) must be completed on the day as stated.

6) Maintenance of proper filing system.

7) Comply with all the Company policies.

8) Perform any other duties relating to inventory as per the Inventory Manager's/Supervisor's discretion.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS 

1) Diploma/Certificate in Inventory Management or relevant discipline will be an asset.

2) Knowledge of GP Dynamics would be an asset.

3) 5 CSEC Passes including Mathematics and English.

EXPERIENCE 

1) At least 3 years' experience in a similiar position would be an asset.

2) Experience with MS Office Suite especially Excel, Access and Powerpoint.

REQUIRED HANDS ON, TECHNICAL OR OTHER TYPES OF TRAINING TO PERFORM THE JOB

1) Total Working knowledge of ISO Standards.

2) Total working knowledge of inventory systems

3) Knowledge of International Standards as applicable.

4) High level of supervisory skills and conflict management skills.
