Sales and Trade Marketing Representative

Berger Paints, a well-established paint manufacturing and retail company is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of: Sales and Trade Marketing Representative

The Sales and Trade Marketing Representative (all island) will aid in selling and promoting products or services, as well as implementing effective trade marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive sales in their respective customers. Monitor and analyses effectiveness of promoter staff within universe of stores.

Sales and Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue/volume targets.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills to manage customer experience and engagement.
  • Be agile, flexible, and open to change in service of the business. 

Trade Marketing

  • Develop and implement trade marketing plans to increase brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful promotional materials for their customers.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on the effectiveness of promoter staff and trade marketing initiatives and resources in their customers.
  • Drive the look of success layout across customer types in their universe.
  • Recommend and cultivate programs that ensure products sell-out from outlet which include monitoring and managing activations. Or do you think that is covered in Sales and Business Development 

Client Engagement

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Stay informed about product features and benefits to effectively communicate with clients.

Sales Reporting

  • Prepare regular sales reports detailing key performance indicators.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions and competitor activities.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of sales and trademarketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Any other duties that may arise within the scope of work.

Required hands-on, technical or other types of training to perform the job:

  • Proven experience in sales and trademarketing roles.
  • Strong understanding of trademarketing strategies and their impact on sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends.

Experience

  1. At least three (2) years’ experience  - Sales and Trade Marketing
  2. Experience in Coatings Industry/Manufacturing Sector would be an asset.
