Sales Supervisor

The Sales Supervisor will oversee the development and performance of all sales activities for the region assigned. Directs sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and targets. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the area and contributes to the development of training sales team. The performance of your area will be your full responsibility.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Align sales territories to the distribution model 
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Advise customers on policies and operating procedures of the company to ensure functional effectiveness of business
  • Conduct quality review visits to POP & POS in the territory to verify the execution of sales and distribution model
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings 
  • Communicate with warehouse as regards deliveries and collections
  • Meets and/or arranges meetings with customers to generate business for the company
  • Monitors the targets and provide update on any development that may cause non-attainment 
  • Adheres to and enforce all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team. 
  • Review progress of Sales team throughout assigned areas.
  • Implements and supervises the promotion and sales of products to maximize revenues
  • Assist with collections and scheduling of discounts as per limit
  • Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity
  • Meets and maintains effective relationship with customers
  • Collaborates with Marketing Managers to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  • Coordinate sales and Merchandising strategy with the Sales Reps to achieve sales target.
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, around times of orders, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
  • Monitor key metrics and analyze team and customer performance assist in the development of strategies and recommend improvements to optimize sales

Education and Experience         

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience with a proven track record

 Competencies

  • Well-developed understanding of sales, collection and data analysis techniques
  • Good data interpretation and organizational skills
  • Demonstrable track record in Sales and/or Marketing would be an asset.
  • Sound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in sales management
  • Leadership, research and troubleshooting skills and quality assurance abilities
  • Is passionate, motivated and driven with entrepreneurial instincts
  • Should be flexible and adaptable with a positive approach in managing projects
  • Must be resourceful, innovative, forward thinking and committed as well as highly creative with a strategic approach to business development
  • Should have strong problem solving, negotiating, analytical, decision-making and delegating skills and be highly experienced in business process improvement, quality management, financial planning, team building, communication, interpersonal and human resources skills
  • Should be able to devise long range goals and objectives to meet the targets of the Business
