To lead the sales operation of the company to ensure the achievement of sales and market share targets.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:
• Maintain and increase sales of the company's products.
• Establish, maintain and expand the customer base.
• Service the needs of the existing and new customers.
• Increase business opportunities through various routes to market.
• Set sales targets for sales team and ensure targets are met.
• Assist with the recruitment and training sales team.
• Ensuring the sales team performs their assigned responsibilities.
• Continuously review the allocation of areas to team.
• Develop sales strategies.
• Monitor your team's performance and motivate them to reach targets.
• Compile and analyse sales figures.
• Assisting with negotiations for shelf space for major customers and smaller supermarkets.
• Collect and analyse customer feedback and market research.
• Produce report for senior management update.
• Keep up to date with competitors and competitive products.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
QUALIFICATION / EDUCATION:
• 5 O’ Level passes including Mathematics and English
• A Degree in Business Management or equivalent would be an asset
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
• At least 3 -4 years of Sales experience
• Must have at least 2 years’ supervisory experience in a related industry
• Ability to lead and motivate individuals/teams
• Committed to continuous improvement
• Have strong oral and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
