The Ideal Candidate
We're not just looking for a voice on the phone; we're seeking a strategic thinker who is relentless in their pursuit of excellence. The person who will excel in this role has:
- 2-3 years of Professional Experience: A solid background in a professional setting, preferably in a B2B sales environment or high-volume B2C.
- 2-3 years of Outbound Calling Experience: You can clearly and confidently describe your outbound calling process, from identifying potential customers to qualifying them. True phone prospecting and lead qualification is a major plus.
- 2-3 years of CRM Experience: You are an expert in using a CRM. You can walk us through how you've organized your activity, managed leads, and executed your sales process within a CRM environment.
- A "Grit" Mindset: Show us your resilience. We're looking for examples of how you've turned a setback into a success and thrived in a high-performance environment.
- Strong Upselling and Referrals Ability: The ability to upsell and gain references from existing customers is a key part of your skill set.
- Coachability and Follow-Through: You are eager to learn new skills and processes. You can provide specific examples of being coached and implementing new strategies with excellent follow-through.
- A Track Record of Consistency: Your resume should demonstrate a history of constant improvement and a commitment to "doing the right things" in every position you've held.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a high volume of outbound calls to a defined list of prospects.
- Qualify leads and meticulously manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to appointment setting.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all activities and interactions in our CRM.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless handover of qualified appointments.
- Consistently meet and exceed weekly and monthly appointment setting targets.
- Provide regular feedback to the management team on market trends and lead quality.
Education Requirements:
▪ High school diploma or equivalent required
▪ Post-secondary education is an asset
