The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting the company’s services to customers, generating new leads, and meeting monthly and annual sales targets. In this position, the Sales Representative will be responsible to the Managing Director and by extension all Directors.

Please note: This position is for our sister company, Skyline Freight & Management Limited. Skyline Freight & Management Limited ensures your cargo gets to its destination safely. Our experienced team implements proper packaging and security measures to protect every shipment from origin to delivery.

Job Duties:

  • Function in the capacity of "on the road sales" with emphasis on establishing new clientele for the Company.
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media etc
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to business prospects
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs and competitors offerings against ours
  • Remain abreast of the latest developments in our platforms, and relevant market trends, ensuring informed and effective sales approaches.
  • Provide exceptional post-sales support and address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies in performing his/her duties to potential/existing customers
  • Preparing and submitting concise and accurate weekly sales reports to the Board with key emphasis on sales opportunities/niche markets and new clientele to the company.
  • Having regular sales meetings with Directors
  • Performing tasks analogous to the foregoing.

Requirements:

  • Must have CAPE passes, however, degree in sales/marketing or any related discipline would be an asset
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the Freight Forwarding/Logistics Industry required
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Valid driver's license will be an asset

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be computer literate.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Familiarity with a variety of sales techniques.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
  • Must be a team player.
