The incumbent is responsible for growing sales for our partner company Novo Farms, and ensuring that all sales revenue is collected from customers as scheduled or promptly.

JOB SUMMARY

 

The incumbent is responsible for growing sales for our partner company Novo Farms, and ensuring that all sales revenue is collected from customers as scheduled or promptly. This job is 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Leverage retailer relationships to maintain and grow sales and revenue.
  • Prepare, monitor, and analyze tallies, trends, product cycles, and related sales reports to ensure sales targets are met and or reviewed.
  • Review stock levels and make recommendations to the manager to determine the ideal reorder quantities and cycle.
  • Explore identified opportunities to export to external markets.
  • Solicit and review the retailer’s feedback.
  • Respond to, and report on all customer challenges and complaints.
  • Negotiate with customers (retailers) to ensure that stock is properly displayed, stored, and merchandised.
  • Merchandise, plan, and manage NOVO’s product range, inventory, displays, and promotions. 
  • Provide daily support for and participate in advertisements, promotions, and marketing activities. 
  • Report on and provide recommendations to minimize, and resolve all challenges encountered by the Sales Representative team.
  • Prepare invoices, credits, reconciliations, and any other related receivable documents required, and collect/secure sales revenue.
  • Keep up-to-date with all existing and new product offers and ensure that all members of the Sales Representative Team are informed accordingly.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

RELATIONSHIPS

 

Internal relationships include but are not exclusive to the following:

 

Manager -                                   To be informed of targets and implement sales plans.

Accounts Team -                       To collect and account for sales revenue as per policy.

Marketing Team -                     To provide promotions and sales support.

Operations/Inventory Team - To ensure products are processed, packaged, ready, and stock available for sale.

Product Quality Team -            To access product knowledge and to ensure that local and international standards are maintained and exceeded.      

 

External relationships include but are not exclusive to the following:                 

 

Retailers -                                   To generate sales, re-orders/restock, negotiate prime/attractive shelf space, attractive brand presence, and the required storage to maintain product quality. 

 

EDUCATION

 

  • 5 CSEC passes
  • Certified training in Sales will be an asset.
  • Undergraduate tertiary level certificate or diploma from an accredited institution will be an asset

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Two - Three (2 - 3) years of experience in sales and merchandising.
  • One – Two (1 - 2) years of experience working with Fast-moving Consumer Goods (FCMG) to retailers or Hotel, Restaurant, Café (HoReCa)
