Jamaica’s leading manufacturer and distributor of food and beverages, seeks to hire sales representative to support our dynamic growth.

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions. The role focuses on achieving sales targets and expanding the company's customer base.

             KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell products from assigned brands operating within the context of individual sales targets
  • Identify, engage and convert prospective customers into active customers.
  • Increase sales by selecting products that meet customer needs, highlighting the features & benefits of the product to the customer
  • Use an informed consultative approach to make recommendations for new products, product placement and promotions
  • Assist with the presentation of WISYNCO Brands, ensuring that it follows the set standards and the established Look of Success
  • Understand & properly execute all systems & POS procedures to ensure quick sales transactions and follow through
  • Work as part of a team by sharing selling support duties, demonstrating flexibility and reacting to change appropriately
  • Resolve customer complaints by promptly investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations for resolution and/or prevention
  • Manage the credit and collections process to ensure that debts are recovered within the approved time- frame and liaise with the credit department to ensure that customers’ accounts are efficiently managed to facilitate uninterrupted sales activities
  • Any other duty that may be assigned within the scope of the job

 

Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or equivalent with at least two (2) years’ experience in a Sales or Customer facing position

  • Good communication skills – both in written and verbal formats with the ability to communicate with varying levels of staff
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office productivity tools (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • People-oriented and results driven with great interpersonal skills
  • Sales oriented with sound knowledge of the industry and its products
  • Proven ability to deliver against defined objectives
  • Excellent time management, planning and prioritization skills with good numeric abilities
  • Resourceful, flexible and adaptable
  • Professional and confident presence with customer-focused attitude
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and own a reliable motor vehicle
