External Customers
As a Sales Representative in the hospitality sector, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the services or products to businesses within the hospitality industry namely Hotels, Restaurants. Your main goal is to build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide them with tailored solutions that meet or exceed their expectations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the hospitality market, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and competitive environment.
7.1 To Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hospitality sector. This includes researching potential clients, attending industry events, and networking to build a robust pipeline of leads.
7.2 To cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty. Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and concerns.
7.3 To prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospects and clients, show Casing the value preposition of the Company’s products. Tailor presentations To address the specific needs and pain points of each client.
7.4 To negotiate terms and pricing agreements with Clients to secure profitable Contracts while ensuring that their needs are met. This may involve Collaborating with internal teams to customize solutions or overcome Objections..
7.5 To develop in conjunction with the sales and marketing manager, a business growth strategy for the Hotel Industry.
7.6. To stay informed about market trends competitor activities, and industry developments relevant to the hospitality sector. Use this knowledge to adapt sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
7.7. To keep accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, sales calls, and revenue forecasts. Generate regular reports for management to track progress against sales targets and objectives.
7.8. To Gather feedback from clients about their experiences with your company's products or services. Use this feedback to identify areas for improvement and advocate for changes that enhance customer satisfaction.
7.9. Compile an activity plan to target potential new customers from identified prospects and create their own prospect database.
7.10 To analyse and understand the local market and sector including competitor strengths and weaknesses, demographic trends, and corporate activity.
7.11 To tailor the sales plans to make the most of any opportunities.
7.12 To carry out and agreed number of sales calls per calendar month split between relevant market segments including site visits, presentations and reviews.
7.13 To carry out client entertaining, event, activity to nurture and build on
existing and future business relationships.
7.14 To build and maintain relationships with key target customers and networks.
7.15 Provide customer service and problem-solving training.

7.15 To update and maintain client and prospect database
7.16 Perform additional duties as assigned.
7.17 Develop sales strategies.
7.18 Introduce new products to customers.
7.19 Attend meetings to discuss wins, opportunities, and plans.
7.20 Generate and discuss relevant reports.
7.21 Communicate reports/updates to the Sales Area Manager
7.22 Coordinate with Dispatch and Drivers for smooth deliveries.
7.23 Constantly work with the team to expand the customer base.
7.25 Review Sales Representatives' accounts receivables.
7.26 Assist the finance department as needed.
7.27 Compile and analyze sales figures for assigned portfolio
7.28 Stay updated on products and competitors.
7.30 Host meetings with the Marketing department to discuss promotions.
8.1 Work closely with the sales team, sharing insights and strategies.
8.2 Travel to potential and existing customers to present company offerings.
8.3 Use various communication channels to close sales.
8.4 Implement a Sales Management Process to prioritize key customers.
9.1. To re-tool strategies, processes to ensure the targets are met and exceeded.
10.3 Specific Knowledge Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
10.5 Hours of Work: Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., required to work extra hours and/or on weekends to complete projects and/or assignments within the prescribed deadlines.
