Sales Representative (Classifieds)

Serves as a driver of revenue for the Company in the generation of sales through direct advertising and advertisement-production services. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

• Assists the Marketing/Sales Manager in attaining the overall sales targets. This will include utilizing market data and audience research as marketing tools for achieving the overall sales targets.
• Maintains personal contact with designated clients, with a view to keeping them abreast of all new developments (specials, etc)
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
• Prepares and distributes media contracts for direct clients; ensures terms and conditions are read and understood by client before signing
• Influences and concludes sales.
• Builds and maintains closer links with all Classifieds Clients currently being serviced.
• Identify and resolve client concerns
• Provides feedback/market intelligence pertaining to any information that will assist in maintaining the competitive advantage; submits reports and recommendations
• Prepare status reports on a timely basis or as require
• Follow-up for collection of payment
• Performs any other duties which are incidental or consequential to the above, as may be assigned by the Head of Department or representative.
