Lydford Logistics Ltd. is hiring a Sales Manager who will serve as the strategic anchor for driving direct sales and distribution effectiveness. This role provides critical leadership to the Sales Team, guiding them to expand market coverage, open new accounts, and achieve profitability goals. With a sharp focus on commercial growth, the Sales Manager ensures the successful execution of the company’s sales strategy across targeted channels.
As our Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our strategic sales initiatives and distribution efforts. Your leadership will steer a high-performing sales team toward expanding our market reach and exceeding profitability goals.
Establish and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive growth and mutual profitability
Develop and implement efficient sales operations procedures and policies
Create regional and channel strategies to achieve numeric distribution targets
Lead the sales team in executing brand performance plans to meet targets
Deploy Brand and Trade Marketing strategies through the sales force
Build go-to-market strategies and sales tools to grow business in targeted channels
Launch customer development programs that encourage account growth
Design strategic sales plans aligned with supplier and company goals
Analyze performance data and prepare impactful reports
Interpret market analyses to identify pricing trends and discount strategies
Monitor daily sales activity and maintain customer account health
Lead channel development efforts and manage multi-tiered sales distribution
Refine sales tactics based on competitor activity and market insights
Champion multi-channel distribution strategies
Coach and develop Sales Representatives
Engage with key customers to support relationship-building and deal negotiation
Collaborate to assign territories/routes and optimize field coverage
Conduct performance appraisals and develop sales quotas by region
Support public relations and corporate promotional efforts
Resolve service issues, customer complaints, and disruptions related to the sales team or contractors
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Management, or Economics
Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience in sales leadership in the FMCG industry
Proven leadership and exceptional communication abilities
Realiable motor vehicle and clean driving record
Innovative mindset with strategic clarity
Solid understanding of financial metrics and terms
Strong team-building and motivation techniques
Analytical proficiency and data interpretation skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint expertise
Skilled in various sales and selling techniques
