The Sales Manager will oversee and lead the activities of the Sales Department while maximizing sales team potential and crafting sales plans to meet revenue and growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI targets are met
  • Execute daily check-ins and weekly meetings with team to set objectives for the day/week and monitor progress regularly
  • Train, set objectives and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
  • Guide the professional development of sales consultants
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
  • Report competitive data to upper management
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes
  • Meet extensively with existing and potential clients to develop and strengthen long lasting business ; drive client retention
  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data and projecting future performance
  • Create and execute strategic sales plan that retains and expands customer base
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plan to fulfill them
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies
  • Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals
  • Works closely with Accounts Receivable and sales team to maintain current and collectible aging to reduce debt
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports regarding sales objectives, team performance and business results 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
