Our client located in Barataria is seeking to recruit a: Sales Executive

 

INTERESTED, QUALIFIED PERSONS WHO MEET THIS CRITERIA MUST SUBMIT THEIR RESUMES IN A MICROSOFT WORD FORMAT (.doc) ONLY!

 

KEY DUTIES

  • To promote, sell and cross-sell all products
  • Responsible for ensuring that directed annual sales targets are achieved
  • Identify potential new business to increase the product range and customer base
  • Assist in development and implementation of the Company’s overall and specific sales plans, marketing strategies and advertising efforts
  • Find solutions for all matters relating to customer service
  • Ensure that products conform to customer requirements and meets customer needs
  • Ensure that there is an adequate follow up of all relevant enquiries, pro-forma invoices, shipments, documentation, supplier invoices and customer foreign payments
  • Liaise with local shipping lines and securing best shipping rates for customers
  • Visit all customers, secure tangible orders and report on market and product status
  • Keep customers updated with new catalogues or literature on new/improved products/techniques
  • Provide product and technical training to customers as required
  • Meet and greet principals’ representatives, take them to visit the entire customer base, provide entertainment to principals' representative, and local customers
  • Participate in the company’s Public Relations (PR) activities
  • Generate correspondence, proforma invoices and order forms for the entire product range
  • To provide R&D efforts to enhance agencies/representative sales of current products and make recommendations
  • The Indent Sales Executive reports primarily to the Chairman and has functional responsibilities to all Managers and Executive Directors

JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION AND TRAINING

  • Minimum (3) CAPE Units, grades 1-3
  • Sales Training and Certification evidenced by a Diploma or other similar training or qualification
  • Training specific to the products offered by the company, including on-going updates into new products and technologies

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum of five (5) years demonstrated sales experience, managing and executing product sales
  • Experience in formulating, presenting and implementing sales programs


SKILLS SET, CORE COMPETENCIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently with a strong ability to prioritise and work efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of customers, staff and management
  • Good working knowledge of the hardware business
  • Planning and organising skills
  • The ability to read and understand relevant documents associated with selling the company’s products
  • MUST HAVE A Valid driver’s license!!!

The Salary Range starts at: $10,000.00
