The Sales Executive plays a key role in driving business growth by generating new opportunities, maintaining an active client portfolio, and delivering effective IT solutions tailored to client needs. This role requires strong sales acumen and a solid understanding of the IT industry.

The Sales Executive plays a key role in driving business growth by generating new opportunities, maintaining an active client portfolio, and delivering effective IT solutions tailored to client needs. Working closely with internal departments, the Sales Executive leverages company resources to strengthen and sustain long-term client relationships. This role requires strong sales acumen, sound technical knowledge, and a solid understanding of the IT industry to successfully bridge client needs with the company’s solutions.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage assigned customer accounts while building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
  • Drive new business by effectively promoting and selling the company’s products and services to both new and existing clients.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support across the entire sales cycle.
  • Conduct requirements gathering, develop proposals, perform cost-benefit analyses, and deliver technical presentations, product specifications, and responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities, customer engagements, and prospecting efforts to achieve business targets while managing time and productivity effectively.
  • Develop and manage a personal portfolio/territory in line with the agreed market development
    strategy.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives to increase visibility of products and services and generate interest across target segments.
  • Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries using appropriate methods and channels.
  • Nurture and expand customer relationships through ethical sales practices, tailored solutions, and effective internal collaboration to maximize service quality, growth, and satisfaction.
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to support profitable business development and sustainable partnerships.
  • Attend and present at client meetings and internal cross-functional sessions to support business goals and opportunities.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with purchasing teams, IT departments, and senior executives at client organizations.
  • Prepare accurate, timely reports on pipeline activity, sales performance, quotas, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address and resolve service or billing queries.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic IT certification.
  • IT Sales Certification.
  • Experience with IT Sales in particular “solution selling”.
  • BSc in Management or related field would be an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and influencing skills.
