The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting the company’s products and services by leveraging in-depth product knowledge and consumer insights to meet customer needs.
Business Development Representative Responsibilities
• Utilize Salesforce, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
• Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services.
• Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
• Set up meetings and calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives/regional
manager/presales.
• Generate qualified leads along commercial business, focused on end user business.
• Conducts deep market research to identify key potential business leads.
• Prospect potential and ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads.
• Utilizes sales tools to give detailed information to prospective clients, that is, conduct presentations
on product portfolio, coordinate and execute events in market, and product evangelization.
• Maintain and continuously update the client database to make sure the sales team can access
current information on all leads via CRM.
• Work within your specific geographical location to find new end user business opportunities.
• Record and report monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure they are being met.
Business Development Representative Job Requirements
• Minimum 2-5 years of business development or sales experience required.
• Must own their own vehicle – mobility is required.
• Must have working knowledge of Salesforce CRM tools and similar applications.
• Knowledge of business processes and sales techniques is required.
• Proficient in MS Office applications – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration or Marketing.
• Experience as a business development representative, with a track record of meeting and achieving
sales quotas.
