The Sales Associate is responsible for promoting and selling the banks products and services to new and existing clients. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the banks brand and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquire new clients and grow relationships with existing clients through targeted prospecting and outreach
Identify client needs and recommend suitable banking products and services
Cross-sell and upsell banking solutions such as accounts, loans, cards, and investment products
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance objectives
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in the banks CRM system
Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines during all sales activities
Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations for clients as required
Resolve client inquiries or escalate issues to appropriate teams to ensure client satisfaction
Participate in marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and community events to enhance brand visibility
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to provide informed guidance to clients
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in banking, financial services, or retail
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain relationships
Results-driven and motivated to achieve sales targets
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements is an asset
