Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to operate within the construction industry, providing services in property development, facilities management, and real estate, among others. This role is pivotal in contributing to our sales efforts, promoting and selling our products and services. The ideal candidate will ensure monthly sales targets are met by engaging existing customers, actively recruiting new customers and recommending new service lines. This person also fulfills an administrative duty as needed, as part of the customer care and reporting services provided by the company.
Employment Type: Permanent, 3 months Probations
Location: Primarily hybrid
Base salary: $5,000 - $7,000, based on experience
Allowance: Phone Plan
Commission Structure: 2% on Gross Sales over $100k per month
Sales & Support Duties:
• Prepare sales reports, presentations, and proposals.
• Prepare Tenders and working knowledge of OPR.
• Required to attend networking events.
• Maintain and update customer databases and CRM system.
• Support the sales and business strategy through lead generation and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
• Participate in sales and marketing meetings, with a specific focus on leveraging social media
• Assist in developing sales outreach and branding strategies
• Schedule and conduct site visits with potential clients
• Attend industry conferences, chamber and association events as needed Administrative Duties:
• Prepare, review, and organise documents, reports, and presentations.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making processes.
• Attend site visits and online meetings with prospective clients, taking detailed minutes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Degree in Sales and Marketing, or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Personal Vehicle
• Personal Laptop/iPad/Tablet
Preferred Skills:
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of upstream, downstream, and midstream sectors
• Experience in the construction sector a plus
• Experience in office administration a plus.
