Wisynco Group Limited is currently seeking a cash sales -Sales Assistant for our St. Ann and St. Mary Locations.

Job Summary:

The sales assistant is responsible for managing the ordering and merchandising of all the company's brands to attain growth, meet agreed tarhets, and achive perfect execution. The incumbent is also required to collaborate with all supoorting teams to ensure the acheivement of customer satisfaction in line with the comapny's objectives, vision and values. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must be willing to releve Sales Representatives during periods of leave.
  • Collare and place orders for all brands distributed & or manufactured by the company within assigned stores (s). 
  • Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a slae resulting in the taking of and/or increasing market share.
  • Sell consultativeky and make recommendations to store personnel.
  • Resolbe customer complaints by promptly investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and makng recommendations for resolution and or prevention.
  • Spearhead the merchandising efforts to achieve the perfect look per brand.
  • Seek to maximize shelf facing and share of visible inventory.
  • Complee and sibmit credit not request with the stiplulated time frame.
  • Prepare and submit equipment, POS and work tool request to the Supervisor/Brand Manager or as otherwise instructed.
  • Organise shelves and other areas that display company products in a neat and tidy fasion.
  • Rotate stocks so that near dated, outdated or damage goods are removed from shelves in accordance with company states policies.
  • To identify, engage and convert prospective customers in active customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with store partners.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned within the scope of the job.


Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum five (5) CSEC passes and/or School Leaving Diploma with at least 3-5 years merchandising experience
  • Certification in Sales from a notable educational institution
  • People oriented and results driven with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills- written and verbal with excellent relationship building skills
  • Good sales, merchandising, negotiating skills and credit related skills (as per request for credit notes)
  • Sound product knowledge and basic computer-related skills
