The incumbent will develop and maintain sales relationships with new and existing customers, while achieving our revenue targets

The role involves penetrating local, regional and international markets for the sale of our Paper-Land products.  The Sales Agent will also provide management with customer feedback in areas such as: restocking, quality, changes in customer preference etc.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular client visits to maintain strong relationships and drive product sales.
  • Provide recommendations, samples, and usage ideas to customers to increase customer base.
  • Maintain and grow customer portfolios.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Promote products across a large cross-section of customers, locally, regionally and internationally
  • Coordinate with group’s internal sales teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and product availability to the group’s customers.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and promotional opportunities with customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
  • Accurately process orders and follow through to delivery and returns (if necessary)
  • Support clients’ choices by recommending cost-effective solutions to meet and surpass sales targets.
  • Track sales activities across customer base and product performance in the market.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team to conduct market research and align sales strategies with market trends.
  • Negotiate customer payment arrangements based on company policies.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional planning and organising skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills; capable of managing difficult or emotional customers.
  • Capable of reporting complex sales data.
  • Ability to work independently of as part of a team.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

 Minimum Training and Experience:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field will be an asset.
  • At least three (3) years sales experience in FMCG.
  • Experience with regional and foreign trade regulations will be an asset.
