Your Mission:
As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing a portfolio of key clients, and delivering tailor-made logistics solutions that meet their global supply chain needs, including Freight Forwarding, Project Management, LCL, FCL, NVOCC,Your role will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Present and promote freight forwarding and logistics services to prospective customers.
• Develop tailored transport solutions (air, sea, and ground) to meet client needs.
• Negotiate rates and terms with clients, ensuring competitive and profitable deals.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of active customers through excellent account management.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to deliver outstanding service.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customers needs to refine sales strategies.
• Prepare and deliver reports on sales performance and forecast.
• Maintain / Update our CRM on a daily basis.
• Present and sell cargo and shipping services to current and potential clients.
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
• Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
• Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
• Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, inventory and adherence to goals
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to Management.
• Coordinate with other company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
