Super Cleaners Dry Cleaners Limited is seeking to fill the position of Counter Clerk.

Super Cleaners Dry Cleaners Limited would like to fill the following position at its Connoly Avenue Location: 

Counter Clerk

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect the items of clothing from customers, inspect for spots, stains and damage and advise the client on the best cleaning solutions to include explaining the implemented owner’s risk policy.   
  • Prepare invoices detailing the type of laundry presented along with cost associated for processing. Collect cash or card payment according to invoice and client’s limitations. All express vouchers must be marked with a (x) with red ink from top to bottom of invoice.
  • Tag and place laundry items in relevant bins provided. For those requiring express services, items must be properly identified by attaching the white cord provided.     .
  • All invoices must be entered on the Dirty Ticket Report and all cash and card invoices for the daily sales written on the Counter Clerk Report and sent to the relevant department for reconciliation in the evenings.
  • Reconcile daily sales total to include cash, debit and credit card with invoices.
  • Settle credit card machine daily.
  • Package cash and reports for delivery to head office.
  • Ensure that work area is free from clutter and presentable to external customers.
  • Ensure all stationery, tags and machines used for work are in proper working order.
  • Conduct yearly Stock Counts

 

 Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of one to two years’ experience.
  • Must be able to stand for long hours.
  • Be able to communicate at all levels.
  • Be able to resolve Customer Issues/complaints within your scope.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Good numeracy and record keeping skills.
  • Good product knowledge.
  • Must be able to deal with difficult customers.
