SOUS CHEF-Needed full time

A Catering Company is seeking experienced individuals to join the Team as SOUS /EXECUTIVE CHEF . The successful candidates should be motivated, talented and creative. This role requires planning, preparation and execution of catered events with high standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Catering Manager with menu planning, recipe development and meal preparation.
• Supervise staff during food preparation, provide guidance and support.
• Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies for kitchen efficiency.
• Collaborate with team to execute large-scale events, including setup, service and cleanup
• Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
• Adapt to changing menus and special requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment and keep all equipment in good order.
• Ensure that all health, safety and food preparation and hygiene requirements are met.

Qualification & Experience

• 2-3 Years experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the Catering or Restaurant Industry.
• Culinary Degree or NVQ-J Level II Certification in Food Preparation from HEART Trust NTA or a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients and food safety practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Flexible to work evening, weekend and public holiday as needed.
