VACANCY – SNR. HUMAN RESOUCE OFFICER

 

A well-established Institution in the Retail and Manufacturing Industry is seeking to recruit a dynamic, innovative and results- oriented individuals to fill the position of SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER. 

Position Summary 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the update, development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and initiatives.
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of innovative onboarding plans.
  • Assist in developing training and development programmes.
  • Assist in performance management process.
  • Provide information and guidance on employee benefits and utilization.
  • Maintain the HRMIS system
  • Manage employees leave administration and attendance.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Department’s operational plan and budget.
  • Develop annual work plans for direct reports and monitors performance.
  • Conducts performance appraisals within the guidelines provided.  

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT AND EXPERIENCE

  • BSc/BA in HR/Business Administration, or relevant field; further training will be a plus
  • 3-4 years’ experience as a HR Officer/Administrator 

REQUIRED SKILLS/SPECIALISED TECHNIQUES

  • Knowledge of HR functions (performance management, pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS
  • Organizational and time-management abilities
  • Communication skills both orally and written
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
