The successful would report to the Store Operations Manager and support our Pharmacy as well as he/she should possess excellent leadership skills with proven ability to coach, mentor and motivate.

JOB DUTIES
  • Ensuring the continual, smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of your assigned dispensary, consistent with legal and regulatory requirements, and the Company’s policies, procedures and standards.
  • Managing and scheduling the Dispensary team so that your Pharmacy is always functioning at an optimal level.
  • Analyzing sales figures and interpreting trends to facilitate planning.
  • Supporting the team towards achieving performance and financial objectives, and continuously striving to improve the Dispensary’s commercial performance and maximize profitability.
  • Driving a culture of performance, consistent with the Company’s strategy, including encouraging exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Assuming responsibility for staff related issues, including but not limited to: interviewing potential staff members; effective rostering; conducting appraisals and performance reviews; dealing with disciplinary issues and providing/coordinating training and developmental activities.
  • Ensuring a contributory and cooperative relationship with other Stores, CSU, the Warehouse and suppliers.
  • Upholding service standards for counseling, dispensing, pricing, licensing, managing inventory and record keeping.
  • Preparing quarterly reports and other reports as directed by Executive Management.
  • Keeping current with new pharmacy trends, drug updates and practices.

 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Undergraduate Degree in Pharmacy and/or Diploma in Pharmacy
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar work environment. 
  • Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Trinidad & Tobago.
