About the Role

They are seeking a proactive and hands-on Senior Accountant to help strengthen and improve their finance function. This role goes beyond routine accounting—you will play a key role in fixing inefficiencies, improving processes, and bringing structure to an evolving environment, with a strong focus on inventory accuracy, financial discipline, and meeting reporting deadlines.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will oversee and coordinate outputs across key areas of the accounting function, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting and business analysis. You will also provide oversight and direction to a small, multi-functional team, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and timely delivery of financial information.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations

- Lead cost accounting and inventory management, ensuring accuracy and control

- Oversee financial reporting, data analysis, and dashboard outputs, ensuring consistency and reliability

- Ensure timely completion of reconciliations, reporting, and month-end close activities

- Review bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and meaningful financial and operational reporting

- Identify gaps and implement process improvements

- Work closely with operations to strengthen financial controls and inventory management

Qualifications & Experience

- BSc Accounting or ACCA Level II (or progressing)

- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a hands-on accounting role within a manufacturing, FMCG, or production-based environment

- Demonstrated experience in:

  - Accounts Payable & Receivable

  - Bank Reconciliation

  - Inventory management and stock control

  - Cost accounting (essential)

- Experience supervising or coordinating a small team

- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools

- Experience working closely with operations, logistics, or production teams

- Knowledge of IFRS

- Strong Excel skills (experience with dashboards or reporting tools an advantage)
