SECURITY MANAGER
The Security Manager is responsible for protecting our organization's people, property, and information by developing safety policies, managing security personnel, and overseeing surveillance systems. Key duties include conducting risk assessments, investigating breaches, leading emergency responses, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
1. Oversee and evaluate the performance of Monitoring Center staff to ensure operational effectiveness.
2. Coordinate the activities of CCTV technicians to maintain optimal system functionality and ensure regular preventive maintenance.
3. Implement system enhancements and optimize camera placement for improved surveillance coverage.
4. Conduct periodic evaluations of operators’ system knowledge, both with and without time constraints, to ensure competency and readiness.
5. Supervise the private security service provider, including:
· Managing attendance and ensuring adequate coverage
· Verifying fulfillment of assigned posts
· Ensuring compliance with all post instructions
· Coordinating daily activities with the General Supervisor
· Reporting service quality and performance to the General Manager
· Delivering training sessions for security personnel
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate daily operational activities in collaboration with other functional areas to ensure seamless workflow.
2. Attend and oversee merchandise destruction events to verify compliance with established procedures.
3. Manage on-site actions during criminal proceedings involving employees or contractors accused of theft, working directly with authorities.
4. Recommend and implement cross-check processes with Operations to strengthen anti-fraud controls.
5. Conduct random inspections of merchandise shipments to ensure accuracy and integrity.
6. Review and analyze digital recordings of relevant incidents stored in the Control Operations Center.
7. Coordinate internal emergency responses for power outages, accidents, and natural disasters, ensuring proper execution of evacuation protocols.
8. Develop, maintain, and implement a Disaster Management Plan to protect personnel and company assets during emergencies.
9. Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures by managers, employees, and third-party service providers.
10. Safeguard the confidentiality of all information, images, recordings, and investigative methods.
11. Respond directly to major security breaches and provide immediate escalation to the General Manager.
12. Provide initial assistance during medical emergencies occurring within company facilities.
13. Collaborate regularly with law enforcement and regulatory authorities as required.
14. Respond to reported theft of company assets and promptly notify the General Manager.
15. Prepare monthly operational reports and statistics, including audited cash operations, recovered stolen goods, legal case updates, and other key metrics.
16. Monitor suspicious cash transactions for anti-fraud purposes, requiring comprehensive understanding of the billing system to cross-reference with video evidence.
