 ASSISTANT TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER 

The Assistant Training Manager is responsible for analyzing training needs, developing curriculum, and delivering courses. This position conducts needs assessments and development of measurement instruments for instructional assignments. 

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include: 

• Designing and administering appropriate assessment tools and techniques to ensure learning outcomes are achieved.
• Preparing training status reports, communications, and training procedures as required.
• Consulting with various department or division managers to assess training needs.
• Working with the Training and Development Manager to ensure overall productivity and organizational effectiveness is achieved.
• The ability to lead and motivate. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

• Bachelors in Education, Human Resource Management, or similar certification. A degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management or any other related field will also be considered
• Minimum two years’ work experience in a leadership position
• Minimum two years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry 
• Experience in Adult learning theories and instructional methodologies

The Massage Therapist will be responsible for the comfort and satisfaction of guests of the Spa while performing treatments. The individual will need to work harmoniously with the team to achieve the highest standard of service and profit maximisation

• Possessing the following knowledge, skills and abilities, and the ability to perform these essential functions:
  • Aromatherapy Massage
  • Swedish Massage
  • Shiatsu Massage
  • Body Scrubs / Loofa
  • Facials
  • Paraffin Treatments
  • Sports Massage
  • Reflexology
  • Body Wraps
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Waxing Services

• Consulting with guests to identify appropriate massage services.
• Complying with all applicable standards, rules and regulations.
• Maintaining records and filing documentation.
• Outgoing, pleasant personality with excellent guest engagement skills, and ability to work in a multi-cultural/diverse environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have a valid Massage License and be certified in at least two modalities
• Must have at least 1 year experience

SERVER

Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. This plays an integral role in ensuring the guests have an exceptional dining experience. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guests' needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed.

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

• Protecting the establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcoholic beverage control policies.
• Helping guests select food and beverages by presenting menus, offering cocktails, suggesting courses and explaining the chef's specialties.
• Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, being abreast of inventory and the availability of specific menu items
• Following established service standards and Sequences of Service.

 Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma
• Food Handler’s permit
• Vocational/technical training or equivalent apprenticeship
• Excellent customer service

• Having an open schedule.
• Displaying a high level of maturity and responsibility at all times.
• Being a source of information for guests regarding Caribbean culture; points of interest locally and in surrounding areas and current local and international events.  

 Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of a certificate in Events Management & Planning
• Ability to sing, dance, play an instrument or orate
• Public speaking skills necessary
• Competent swimmer and the ability  to participate in athletic or high intensity activities
• A second language is an asset
