 ASSISTANT TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER 

The Assistant Training Manager is responsible for analyzing training needs, developing curriculum, and delivering courses. This position conducts needs assessments and development of measurement instruments for instructional assignments. 

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include: 

• Designing and administering appropriate assessment tools and techniques to ensure learning outcomes are achieved.
• Preparing training status reports, communications, and training procedures as required.
• Consulting with various department or division managers to assess training needs.
• Working with the Training and Development Manager to ensure overall productivity and organizational effectiveness is achieved.
• The ability to lead and motivate. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

• Bachelors in Education, Human Resource Management, or similar certification. A degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management or any other related field will also be considered
• Minimum two years’ work experience in a leadership position
• Minimum two years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry 
• Experience in Adult learning theories and instructional methodologies

LANDSCAPER  

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscape and grounds surrounding the resorts. This includes planting flowers, mowing, pulling weeds, repairing structures, and maintaining the appearance of buildings.

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

• Ensuring that the grounds are kept in immaculate condition.
• Operating equipment (power saw, riding mower, blower, edger etc.) to perform tasks.
• Applying pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitos, wasps, ticks, and others.
• Applying fertilizer to the ground to enhance growth.
• Performing minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping.

 Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Certificate and/or Diploma
• One (1) year experience in a similar position  

BARTENDER

We are actively searching for professional, high energy Bartenders with excellent communications skills. He or she will make and serve exciting new beverages to guests. The ideal candidate will greet guests, learn about their preferences, answer questions and recommend beverages.

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

• Stocking and setting up bars according to established standards of the company.
• Planning drink menus and informing guests of new beverages and specials.
• Following established sanitation and HACCP procedures.
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes.
• Staying guest focused and nurtures an excellent guest experience.
• The ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma
• Vocational/technical training or equivalent apprenticeship
• Food Handler’s Permit
• Two (2) years’ bartending experience in first-class hotel/restaurant 
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

 ENTERTAINMENT COORDINATOR

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:  

• The ability to engage others and perform with a consistently high level of energy, commitment and enthusiasm.
• Being a constant source of information for guest comments, suggestions and reaction to the resort.
• Acting as a catalyst for guest motivation and participation in individual and group events
• Having an open schedule.
• Displaying a high level of maturity and responsibility at all times.
• Being a source of information for guests regarding Caribbean culture; points of interest locally and in surrounding areas and current local and international events.  

 Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of a certificate in Events Management & Planning
• Ability to sing, dance, play an instrument or orate
• Public speaking skills necessary
• Competent swimmer and the ability  to participate in athletic or high intensity activities
• A second language is an asset 

LOYALTY AND TRAVEL SALES CONSULTANT 

This is an exciting sales role requiring a dynamic, assertive, self-motivated personality. The consultant is responsible for ensuring repeat business by securing future travel plans by way of client deposit on room accommodation.

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:  

• Ensuring that accurate bookings are made and reviewed with guests.
• Developing relationships with guests through exciting company approved activities.
• Ensuring that all exclusive events are organised in a timely fashion and to the professional standard required.
• Developing strategic alliances with select departments and team members to assist with sales.
• Participating in all scheduled training on resort and or as organised by Sandals Resorts International. 

 Qualifications and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management or similar field.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Excellent Customer Service and Sales background.
