We are looking for an initiative-taking and resilient Sales Representative in the FMCG arena. The primary responsibility is business growth - improving account penetration and ultimately sales profitability, within a particular market segment or an assigned territory.

We are looking for an initiative-taking and resilient Sales Representative in the FMCG arena. The primary responsibility is business growth - improving account penetration and ultimately sales profitability, within a particular market segment or an assigned territory.

 Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Generate revenue by selling, promoting, and securing orders from existing and prospective customers.
  • Generate revenues by developing, establishing, and maintaining sound business relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Develop a comprehensive prospect list and follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Compile presentations, conduct telephone calls and face-to-face visits re: existing and prospective customers.
  • Expedite the resolution of customers’ complaints and issues.
  • Analysing territory or market segment potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization.
  • Create and manage customer value plan for existing customers highlighting value opportunities, share and profile.
  • Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products.
  • Participate in trade shows and conventions.
  • Must have a reliable working vehicle.

 Qualifications and Experience

  • Associate Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field of study.
  • Five (5) C.X.C. passes including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in a similar and equivalent role.
  • A combination of training and experience will be considered.
