SALES EXECUTIVE

Sales and marketing of the Company’s products and brands. This candidate must possess extraordinary passion for sales, an entrepreneurial mindset, and overall, an interest in the fast-moving consumer goods industry.

Core Responsibilities

• Effectively negotiate product sales  to meet agreed targets.
• Conduct market research of prospective customers and make contact. Inform customers of products, usage, quality and shelf life. Discuss cost benefit and growth opportunities for their business.
• Develop and maintain client database, including maintaining healthy relationship.
• Continuously promote new products and advise customers of changes, shortages, or  changes to delivery arrangement.
• Maintain effective relationship with warehousing team for shared knowledge on product availability and delivery schedule.
• Liaise with Merchandisers, Drivers and Distribution team for accurate and timely delivery.
• Arrange collection from clients and demonstrate the ability to collect receivables in a timely manner.
• Attend monthly and quarterly meetings; make presentations of sales activities including SWOT analysis of assigned region, new accounts and Receivables.
• Assist with sales planning, forecasting, and any Marketing activities.

 Desirable Competence

• Excellent negotiating, planning and forecasting skills.
• Highly analytical and organized with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Competitive, handles pressure well with the DNA of an astute Salesperson.
• Possess extensive knowledge of current trends within the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
• Qualification in Sales and Marketing or equivalent .
• Knowledge of frozen foods and food processing would be an asset.
• Possess basic knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Microsoft Office Suites with adaptability to information tools.
• A reliable motor vehicle and valid Food Handler’s Permit.
