Room Attendant

We are looking for a meticulous and friendly Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness for our guests’ rooms

Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established cleaning procedures and standards.
• Change bed linens and towels, restock room supplies such as toiletries, and replace dirty or used items.
• Vacuum, dust, and mop floors, clean windows, and remove trash to ensure rooms are neat and welcoming.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance issues (e.g., broken furniture, fixtures) and report them to the housekeeping supervisor or maintenance department.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is in proper working order and report any issues.
• Restock and organize housekeeping carts with necessary supplies for efficient room cleaning.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to special requests or questions about hotel services.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring all cleaning products are used properly and stored safely.
• Ensure lost and found items are handled according to hotel procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as a Room Attendant or in housekeeping is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
